Over 30 new ideas gave the Hospitality Booster an extra boost.
The first Hospitality Summit of HotelliereSuisse on 7 and 8 September in Zurich was a great success. During two days, decision makers and opinion leaders of the industry discussed ways, perspectives and solutions out of the crisis as well as the trends of the future. As an initiative of HotellerieSuisse, we were of course also represented at the Hospitality Summit.
The pneumatic tube as an insider tip of the fair.
Over 30 new ideas for improving the hospitality industry were submitted to the Hospitality Booster at the event. Not only that, our stand became the insider tip of the conference during the course of the fair and attracted many visitors. One of the reasons for this was the unusual trade fair concept around a spectacular pneumatic tube, which we developed together with the Company Factory. This pneumatic tube illustrated the ideation process of the Hospitality Booster and made it tangible. Visitors were able to write down their ideas and send them via pneumatic tube to the Booster stand, where all ideas were collected and are now being analysed and sharpened by our Booster community. The four best ideas will be announced on our social media channels later this month and rewarded with a prize.
Sharing is particularly important at the moment.
“I was pleased to meet the hoteliers and start-ups from the community live for once,” says Karthik Muralidharan from Hospitality Booster. The Hospitality Summit has created an important platform for exchange within the industry and we were able to have many interesting conversations with the community at the stand. This exchange is particularly valuable in the current situation, as the hotel industry is facing great challenges due to the pandemic. Therefore, the Hospitality Booster aims to develop needs-oriented solutions together with the community that create added value and secure the future of the industry. With success: the Hospitality Booster currently has over 300 users per month. More than 40 ideas have already been submitted, five of which have already been implemented and are currently in the pilot phase.
The Hospitality Summit has given the Hospitality Booster an additional boost. We would like to thank all visitors to our stand for their interest and the interesting discussions.
