A booking inquiry comes in. An invoice needs to be checked. A review is waiting for a response. And at the same time, the next guests are already waiting at reception.

In day-to-day hotel operations, many small tasks have no clear owner. They move between reception, administration, and management or are postponed—yet together they consume significant working time.

This is exactly where MYT Hospitality comes in.

The project is developing an operational solution based on AI agents. The agents work with the hotel’s own tools through the official interfaces of the systems already in place. For each hotel that part is tailored to fit it’s needs.

For example, a seminar inquiry arrives in the evening. MYT can compile the applicable rates, cancellation conditions, local tourist tax, and option deadline and prepare a complete draft quotation. A designated person at the hotel reads and approves the entire draft, including availability, before sending it. Nothing is sent to a guest without that designated person’s approval.

Measure First, Then Decide

MYT Hospitality is still in the validation phase. The pilot therefore begins without installing technology or changing the hotel’s systems and lasts thirty days in total.

Day one is used to observe a defined task. During the first week, the workflow according to the hotels wishes on how to handle the defined task is set up; in weeks two to four, it runs alongside the existing organisation; and on day thirty, the hotel and MYT will evaluate on the suitability based on three key figures that are recorded:

  • How long did it take to respond to an inquiry?
  • How many inquiries were processed, and how many remained unanswered?
  • How much working time did the task actually take, according to the team?

MYT Hospitality is particularly looking for independent three- and four-star hotels in Switzerland. No guest data is processed during the pilot, which covers corporate inquiries, internal documents, and operating figures.
