(Application deadline: August 15, 2025)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSegTbRJwr4_e6PnO2qIP25-XQ_TLbKaewBCpacgLgUUOrEx6Q\/viewform?usp=header\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Submit your expression of interest now (non-binding)<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Description:<\/h3>\n<p>What happens to hotel textiles that are no longer in use?<\/p>\n<p>Instead of being discarded, we give them a new life: At the <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfashionfactory.ch\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fair fashion factory<\/a> in Basel, discarded hotel textiles are creatively and locally transformed into marketable products. In partnership with HotellerieSuisse members, we\u2019re launching a pilot project that turns unused materials into stories and sustainable business models.<\/p>\n<p>Why it matters:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"820\" data-end=\"1170\">In Switzerland, around 110,000 tons of used textiles are generated each year \u2013 about half of which are incinerated. At the same time, the global textile industry is responsible for around 10% of global CO\u2082 emissions. While <a href=\"https:\/\/www.news.admin.ch\/de\/newnsb\/6IKO3j1UwPQCJ8ltD9R-V\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations<\/a> are still under political discussion, we\u2019re taking action now: Connecting hospitality and circular textile solutions \u2013 starting today, hands-on and local.<\/p>\n<p>Your opportunity as a hotel: Get involved and co-create<\/p>\n<p>This pilot project is supported by the Hospitality Booster and guided by experts in textile design, sustainability, and circular business models. The aim: to test and develop simple, practical circular solutions tailored to the hospitality industry.<\/p>\n<h3>3 compelling reasons to join<\/h3>\n<p>1.
